I think it becomes quite hard as especially those that mask can go under the radar. We had to pay privately for my son to get diagnosed. Camhs still don't recognise it but everywhere else does. It's a tough game and TBF I was ready to fight, were even applying for funding for a sensory assessment for him. Just keep pushing through.

I’m slightly worried I haven’t sent enough evidence. I didn’t have it at the time however I do now but not sending it in case it holds it up further. I will do an MR with it all if need be. Anyone been successful with limited evidence but positive school support? School are very supportive. She’s now under CAMHS , SALT and OT

@Loubyloufootball I think everyone worries about the evidence they sent. I sent some with claim then thought its not enough so printed out loads more to send that they got on 13th march 😂 i was petty with my evidence though x

Yesss! I got HRC with Harley any evidence other than nursery. Few years ago now, I've said this loads, they don't read all evidence it's skimmed they wouldn't have time, so aslong as yours is relevant I wouldn't worry 💗

Definitely keep it incase then bang it all in their face at MR I intend to do the same if unsuccessful 💪💪

Yes, I pretty much just sent through his adhd diagnosis and SNAP test results which showed his ODD and autistic traits, he hasn’t been diagnosed with autism yet though, he’s been under the SEN team prior to his diagnosis as they just knew and have been amazing, I just made sure I wrote as much as I could about how he is and I kept a diary recently incase I needed to do an MR, I worried so much about whether or not I had sent enough that’s why I started the diary

Aww bless you both, sounds like it's been a nightmare! Hopefully you guys get the rate he deserves! It's so hard constantly trying to fight to be heard xx

Aah, thank you. I have been doing the same re: diary. We don’t have any diagnosis but I’m 100% we will get one which will be a relief to help her understand why she is different :(
Shame we didn’t realise for years :(

My son has ODD, what's the snap test? Is it like Connors questionnaire?
My son masks at school so our connors questionnaire were polar opposites 🤦🏻‍♀️

Another day and hopefully good news for some of us!
Already on my first espresso of the morning! Need to try distract myself so I'm not calling them again.. or should I? 👀 I rang last Monday! Feel like I haven't harassed them enough!

I keep telling myself not to phone but I know I will phoned mon and wed so I need to keep myself occupied the waiting is driving me mad good luck all waiting to hear decision hopefully not long now
