Am glad it’s sorted for you now xx and with carers allowance theres no point to apply for it since they’ll deduct £1 for £1 from your uc payments. Iam not gonna apply for it xx

Sent my child’s DLA form off today . Looks like a long wait for a decision .

😂 iv no idea. Iv done my housework. Sorted the 3 dogs. 1 child at work, 1 child at school. The boy goes back tomorrow. And somehow managed to spend £200 in asda 🤔 that has now annoyed me. Nope havnt called back and think it may be wise i dont 😂

Yes she said to apply for the carers element and she checked with someone to make sure that was the best decision. Hopefully it's all done now and they back date it 🤞

Still waiting open but not had a decision yet keep thinking it will be a decline as applied twice before didn't win tribunal son autistic with ehcp in place but getting worse

@Emmajm85 We all understand here so let it out, spesh if it clears your mind space!! The way parents get left is awful. Life is stressful enough for us without having to chase up every tom dick n harry. Just dont try doing everything at once and pick tasks you need to be more firm with, never accept the first answer if it doesnt sit right with you 💕 xx

Hi all! Has anyone been told over the phone that they cant see what the decision is? Apparently one was made friday but he wouldnt tell what it is was, does this mean its likely being declined?
Scan date was 12/12 the wait times are awful!

It is worth saying that you do get better class of NI contributions on CA than CE. Also although UC do take CA back £ for £ you'll never be worse off and I have a friend who still claims CA so she gets it weekly rather than monthly.

Which options did you use? People have had this using the quicker way and called back using the longer options and been told its an award and the details etc. I would be tempted to call back if you have the time using options 523 I think it is

overwhelmed with it all. She’s been diagnosed with cerebral palsy, but I’m starting to wonder if there’s something else going on too. Time will tell I guess.
