Scan date 15/12.

So relieved & happy that my DD’s needs have been recognised as we have had a nightmare with the school & I was convinced we’d be declined.
For context DD is autistic & no longer attending school as they weren’t recognising the support she required & she ended up burnt out. She is now home ed. All I sent with the form was her autism diagnosis.

I hope she gets what she deserves but I have seen people sending in loads of evidence and being declined and people who only filled the forms with barely any or no evidence and diagnosis being awarded.

Thanks @Kaz87, you’re right though that it seems a bit random in terms of how much evidence you send in & whether you get awarded. I also thought I hadn’t put enough detail on the form although to be honest I can’t remember what I wrote!

I don't remember much from the form to be honest but I know that I have mainly concentrated on my DD eating disorder (obviously )and sent evidence from ED clinic,gp and school letter, school was really supportive aswell reading about others experience with their children school I'm very lucky to be also supported by the school.

Yes I will be, I held off calling yesterday afternoon i couldn't bear the wait for the chance to be cut off after 2 hrs lol, o know it more than likely still with DM but I just need too know. Hoping you get some one more helpful today 🤞🤞xx

Got straight through to the lovely Denise, she counted me as 17 weeks but did say she'd included the Xmas one which I didn't think they did. Anywho she says it's not actually being looked at at this second but is with a DM. She said she would send an email for me to "push it along." Not sure if that's a thing or not, anyone every heard of that?

I spoke to Karen, she told me it's definitely with DM to be looked at anytime. Hoping it's not a 2week ŵait

It's to give the dm a kick up the ass!! Which is a good thing. Call back mon/tues and hopefully there is progress. Kim needs a new job i think 😬

As daft as it sounds just getting a confirmation it's with a DM 2 days in a row feels like a win alone 😂hopefully they'll both be looked at soon and we'll know the outcome!

Morning everybody, I just thought I’d send an update on mine (still relatively new) scan date was 13/2 and yesterday 10/4 I received a letter saying ‘sorry we have not made a decision yet the wait time is upto 15 weeks’ I am assuming a general letter to say ‘we haven’t forgotten about you so please don’t call us 🙄’
