Just got off the phone all evidence scanned on the 5th and the only thing she could tell me was that new claims are taking 15 weeks and it's not been looked at yet

How do I get through to dla, everything I call they just say I'm at the wrong department. I applied march 7th but haven't had any acknowledgement and wanted to check it's with them.

Global developmental delay, my boy also none verbal. Virtually unable to walk VUW means. Children with severe delays can meet this criteria. It's all about. Manner, speed, distance in a certain time frame xx

Children with asd that is severe can go down 2 routes if they meet the criteria.. smi and vuw. I hear vuw is easier to get as there is less points to meet in the flow charts, don't get me wrong HRM is extremely hard to get but is possible if the evidence meets the criteria xx

Oh, yeah my boy also has global development delay, he's 7 and can barely write his name! Ah I see I will look into it, thank you, hopefully I won't need to fight 🙏🙏 He literally can't walk anywhere to 🙈 he has problems with his legs, his joints swell, they diagnosed him with juvenile arthritis at the age of 3 xx

How old is your child? Mine had the mobility added automatically once they were old enough.

I would imagine with that on top of things they surely can't deny. When did you do coc again? Xx

I've just called uc, still being checked and not verified yet,
She said "shouldn't be much longer"
Said sometimes it's automatically backdated to start of dla award, but if it isn't once verified then to call back so they can request it xx

I have seen some awful cases that they have denied, but is that due to not enough evidence I don't know? DLA are so strict with HRM turn alot of cases down. but you find they turn away so many claims that will won at tribunal doesn't really make sense. Sending you so much luck with your boy, you certainly deserve it 💙

He was 3 at the time and when I applied. He just turned 4. Hrm is awarded from the age of 3, that’s what am hoping they’ll award me after the mr xx

Ohh mines 19/12 current on hold, they told me last week it should be done by 17th april

No they answered after about 40 minutes. Got Kim, I'm sure I've heard her name mentioned before. After being told Friday Monday and Tuesday it's with a DM Kim told me today it's in a holding pile.
