Same here 😅 I filled it in online and printed it, sent it off 20th march. Sent it normal post aswell, didn’t even think to send it recorded lol. I’ll call them tomorrow aswell as DLA😮‍💨
how long would we normally have to wait to hear back from child benefit, this is new to me x

Me too 🙈
well the lady on the phone told me that it should be showing as received 21 days after it being posted. But with regards to hearing from them, she said if it’s a straight forward claim it can be put on the system the same day and all done easy peasy, but others are taking until 24th June 🙄 she also mentioned something that they’re currently working through applications for 7th Jan, so if I’m honest, I don’t have a bloody clue 🤣 xx

We are also a December.

December 13th, still awaiting

Chickapea77 · 04/04/2024 23:03

Wow, going to need another thread soon with all the drama! No point arguing over the information call handlers give because it really sounds like some of them just make it up as they go🫣
Congratulations for all the new awards, every one of them gets the rest of us closer to a resolution.
For the November Scan Club… hang in there, guys! The end is in sight. Hope all your claims get finalised by the end of the week 💪🏼

Does anyone know how long it takes to get the backdated disability element for uc mines been with a dm for 3 weeks? I can see the careers element and disability element has been added to the uc statement but no new on the backdated payment X

Girlandboymama · 05/04/2024 05:07

Can’t believe it. Woke up to a payment this morning of £2,146.75. Forms requested 08/11/2023 & scan date 12/12/2023. Does anyone know what rate my daughter’s been awarded? Good luck to everyone else today X

Mine was with a decision maker for 4 weeks. I'm still yet to receive the backpayment though and I'm 11 weeks on from requesting.

I believe UC is done by area so differs in time frames, if you're allocated a work coach I believe it's usually quicker as youre dealt with by one person. If you don't have one it's chucked onto a pile to be dealt with?
I moved areas recently and where I used to live they dealt with messages in my journal rather quickly, now not so much.

I’ve been waiting 14 weeks today from my scan date what is the average wait time? Had 2 letters so far - 1 acknowledgment and the other the first week of February to say not to ring it may take up to another 15 weeks 🙄 just wondered the average time? Thanks

Hey 😊 Some people on here have been awarded at about 12 weeks I think, but there’s a few of us still waiting from November 😅 my scan date is 17/11 so I’m 20 weeks today, and was told earlier in the week it will probably be another couple of weeks 🙄
I hope you hear something soon 🤞💕 The wait is horrible xx

Emmajm85 · 05/04/2024 08:09

Congratulations on all awards this week 🥳 xx

07whatever · 05/04/2024 08:17

Parking as i'll probably be here a while longer.
Scan date 11/01 but hoping they had less applications over Xmas and they hurry up to Jan asap 😅
Had an 18 week wait last year for DC1 so I'm not new to this process but man it stresses me out!

UmElise · 05/04/2024 08:25
