I’ve just phoned again as I was told DM was calling me today and still haven’t heard anything, and I’ve been hanged up on twice , I honestly can not do this anymore !

Phoned yesterday. NINO is now on file. It was requested on 22nd March but that request isn’t actually needed as, between applying for DLA and now, we have started claiming child benefit.

the case is in the queue for the clerical team to then put back into DMs pile and was told to phone back Monday if not heard anything. I wish I’d asked if it’s possible for her to email the DM direct? To say Nino is now on file so is it possible for them to pick it up directly rather than needing to go back to the clerical team. Maybe I’ll phone tomorrow 😬

Does anyone know how long coc are taking. Guessing a long time too sent forms back and scanned 16/02 received a letter saying 11 weeks, but that's all I have had.
The dread of waiting again after the wait from first applying.

Think I joined mid to late 20's thread. I can imagine hun, can feel myself getting more obsessed now so can't imagine how I'd feel four weeks further on like you are! I've had to stop myself from calling, only once to check evidence was scanned in.

I would probably still be on here for another year 😂 if his rejected id have to do an MR…or if his awarded only a year ill have to start renewal a few weeks from now 😂😂

My scan date 28/12 sounds promising I might hear soon 🙏 currently in hospital over night with my LO after multiple seizures this afternoon… she’s epileptic… I’m requesting an MRI as last time I was fobbed off! It’s awful having to fight for what your babies deserve good luck everyone whose still waiting for a decision x

I can’t believe they’ve asked for more evidence from you with everything they already have. Are they being specific about what evidence they want?
I really hope you get awarded fairly and soon.

they’ve said the same to me, they now want evidence from the OT, despite the school saying the OT had visited and provided them with advice, and has ordered lots aids to support getting around in cool, the council have also been out to make adaptations to the school. 🤯 The man I spoke to wasn’t specific about what additional info was needed and when I asked how I could provide it he just said ‘I don’t know we need the information from the OT’ what information?????

have they told you what the hold up is with yours?

I hate this feeling of not knowing, part of me doesn’t care if we get it or not, it’s definitely deserved and the OT, school, GP and consultant have all told us we should apply, so we did. If we are awarded I could definitely make some adaptations to help around the house and arrange for some private counselling, we’ve been on the waiting list for over a year. The evidence sent in was very clear, from two different consultants stating diagnoses and the impact it has. I sent a weeks worth of diaries too among other things. So I don’t know why more evidence is needed now or why the evidence wasn’t requested sooner. I’m starting to suspect they want to decline.
