is that the exact amount?

Yes the exact amount. I can’t work it out!

Yeah it’s an odd one! Doesn’t fit any of the diff ways! And I doubt it would be your older child’s dla mixed in as doesn’t it come with the national insurance number of the child as the ref?

Getoutgetout · 04/03/2024 21:09

Yes the exact amount. I can’t work it out!

£1916 (with the Xmas bonus taken off)

divide by 20 weeks gives £95.80 but £95 would be MRC and LRM and yours comes to 22 weeks! So it still doesn’t make sense

Getoutgetout · 04/03/2024 21:24

Yes a different reference number to my eldest’s. Weird. I’ll update when I get the letter.

Is it always in weeks? Or could it be like a week and a half which is why we can’t work it out.

maybe I’ll call tomorrow at 9 ish

RainsbowandBunnies · 04/03/2024 21:27

I remember people saying the payments start from the Tuesday/Wednesday after you call. Not sure how much is true on that but if it’s the case then that would mean they dnt do half weeks?

if I’m making any sense at all…

Yes that makes sense. It’s just so strange as it’s not divisible by 68.10 even with Christmas bonus taken off. I need to step away from the calculator and just call them!!

Gracie1909 · 04/03/2024 21:34

@Alfsnan84 hi yes my daughter has been awarded hrc lrm recently for very similar to what u have described, self harm, overdose severe mental health issues. Hope this helps x

Gracie1909 · 04/03/2024 21:39

@bonz2023 congratulations, we got awarded on a Wednesday, and payment went into my bank the following Tuesday, and then we are due a payment tomorrow which is exactly 4 weeks from my backpay date. Hope this helps xx

Thanks, so was your back pay from when you called to the date it went in your bank? Or to the date they made the decision?

Gracie1909 · 04/03/2024 21:47

@bonz2023 yes it was from the date I called to the day it was paid. So not to the award day, it was paid like to the day it went into my bank so we got awarded 31st Jan, but money went in 6th Feb I think it was and worked out I was paid until 6th. And now we are due another payment tomorrow so been exactly 4 weeks since my back pay tomorrow as it's paid in arrears x

bonz2023 · 04/03/2024 21:48

So from my date I called is 19 weeks and 4 days so when they issue my back pay will it be 19 weeks and 4 days or 20 weeks 😂

Right got you so mine will be 20 weeks then won't it, 19 weeks + 4 days + 3 days to process payment = 20 weeks

Is that right hahahahahaha

Gracie1909 · 04/03/2024 21:50

@bonz2023 I think so haha! Did you ask how much backpay you are receiving? Does it work out right for 20 weeks? X

This gives me a little hope then, I'm just worried it wont be successful as she hasn't got an official diagnosis, she hasn't been to school in two years as just the thought of leaving the house sends her into panic mode, awful for them isn't it.

Gracie1909 · 04/03/2024 21:52

@bonz2023 yes so if you receive that say Wednesday this week, your payment will then be every 4 weeks from Wednesday. Fingers crossed yours gets paid this week, as I was only awarded on a Wednesday so missed that week's cut off I think and had to wait for the following Tuesday for payment xx

bonz2023 · 04/03/2024 21:52

No I didn't ask that, I was all in a tizz because I was totally expecting him to say either it's still waiting or it's declined!

I didnt ask award length either, I'm thinking it may be 2 years going off others experience

Emma2345 · 04/03/2024 21:55

@Getoutgetout how long after you sent forms off did she turn 5? I worked out £68.10 middle rate care with £26.90 LRM for 20 weeks works out around £1900 the extra £26 could maybe he 10 Christmas bonus and the £16 a few days they owe you for example it may of worked out a few extra days in that month so like 20 weeks and 4 days or something I dunno 🤷‍♀️ hopefully when you ring you get a better understanding x

@Alfsnan84 aww yes I understand, my daughter doesn't have diagnosis either, how she is on the pathway currently awaiting . Under cahms etc . she's had alot of hospital admissions and she's on a reduced time table only does a couple of hours a day, sometimes doesnt go atall. Fingers crossed for u 💖 Xx

Gracie1909 · 04/03/2024 21:57

@bonz2023 awwww I was just like u! In shock! I'd ring back tomorrow morning , I did that, I got the text but was in work, so rang the next morning and had pen and paper to hand and wrote it all down xx my daughter got nearly 3 years until she is 17 and moves to pip. X

About 10 weeks after. So it could be 12 weeks of LRM. But we didn’t even answer the questions on
mobility so it would have to be a kind claim manager. Or maybe someone who after reading through the mound of evidence felt so sorry for me!

MissHavershamReturns · 04/03/2024 21:58

Dla form received by them 19/12. Never got a scan date or a text but got two letters to confirm received in Feb stating 19/12 as the date.

Gracie1909 · 04/03/2024 21:59

@Getoutgetout I didn't answer the mobility side of it either as didn't no, but we got lrm x
