Scan date 25/10 gonna ring for update this morning after school run anyone else with same scan date?

When doing a MR has anyone asked for the award length to be extended or can you ask for that

Does anyone know how applying for carers allowance works. Do I need to wait for dla award letter, or can I apply for CA without it

@SarahJL12 From what I could see (from the online form) you need your DLA number to be able to apply

@27Rosie16 hi sent mine off Friday and they received mine today I checked Royal Mail app so hopefully yours should be their soon it’s always best to pay for Next day delivery and tracking too if you still have time and they haven’t received it a day before you had to get it to dwp I would ring them and make them aware you sent it on this date but it hasn’t yet reached them for some reason so they can put a note on the system to say you sent the evidence in time but their are delays with Royal Mail xx

Hi all, anyone still waiting for disabled child element to be backdated? I already receive carers allowance and child element for older child. My daughter was awarded MRC LRM from August 31st only found out on 7th of December she was awarded, I notified UC same day and requested backpay I have sent a couple messages since then asking for an update. They just said its being look into.Last week I sent another message and received a reply back that it's with a decision maker and should hear back shortly. Anyone still waiting for child element backpay that got DLA decision in December???

Ok, just got off the phone - had a lovely lady.. changed my bank details.. not with CM yet.. she said by the end of the week it will be with CM - They are currently working at 16 weeks she said they have just employed over 100 new people and 50 of them are CM! So it is going quicker now moving forward.. My Scan date is 2/11. Hope this helps everyone!!

I've just spoke to someone. I'm on 14 weeks today. Said they are working at 16 weeks so should hear something by mid March. I can't stand this bloody wait!!

Thank you for letting everyone know I have a new claim scanned on 9th November for twin 2 and coc scanned on 28th November for twin 1 so appreciate it. Good luck and fingers crossed everyone 🙏

Thanks for the update, so when they say 16 weeks does that mean they have decided by 16 weeks or it goes to a DM by 16 weeks?

@bonz2023 goes to DM at 16weeks .. so this week mine 'should' go to a DM then its a wait from there hopefully not much longer. She did say everything is moving quicker now due to the new employees.. so lets wait and see xx

Waiting on call to them now and seems they have taken the message off that's says about it being 20week wait so hopefully they are getting down the waiting time.

@Krys83 awarded HRC LRM last weds and went to DM to calculate backpay Friday. I wrote on journal and called. Have you tried ringing hope they sort it asap for you x
