Just starting a new thread as the old one will run out soon

Oh no so that means I’m waiting even longer it’s already been 17wks since I first rang up 🥴 they said 15weeks on the letter so looks like another 6 weeks wait

That’s awful I hope I don’t get refused it was already traumatic doing the form & gathering all the evidence I was also 2wks late sending form off so I hope I still get dackdated

My son has been awarded! When you get the letter with your rates does it explain why you were awarded the level you were and not higher?

How do you know when your scan date was?

They tell you if you ring up. Or should be on the letter you receive when you send your forms back.

Has anybody else ever had DLA ring them before whilst awaiting a decision? If so what was it for as I've had 2 missed calls from

Yay I have just had a text saying my daughter is entitled to DLA. Now just have to wait for all the paperwork come through or can I ring them Monday and find out?

How long did others wait from getting text to 1st payment and paperwork?

They received my paperwork on 19th December. I rang them on Monday and it was with the DM then. Hope you don't have to wait to much longer

I waited 4days for a payment got letter 2 weeks later

I sent off my sons forms today, does the wait time go from when I requested the forms or when they receive them back? Any help much appreciated. Thank you

Your whole initial claim started when you rang them but the time wait time Start once they have received your forms.

You will receive a letter in the post stating when they received it and that it will take about 15 weeks to make a decision

I waited 15 weeks in total but some are waiting longer.

I had a missed call from them on Wednesday morning, when I phoned to ask why she transferred me to someone that told me I had been awarded. I think they ring you sometimes to confirm information, in my case it was to tell me I had been awarded.

Scan date 22nd Dec. 16 weeks yesterday. Hoping I'll hear something soon

Did they tell you over the phone what you was getting and when you would get your 1st payment

Just received a letter saying that we are sorry we have not yet given you a decision on you claim . This could take up to 15 weeks . They received my claim on the 30/1 is this a good thing and does it mean that we we be awarded soon ?

They rang me from 0800 023 2635

Yes told me my rates and how much back pay was going to be.
