@Elephant32 i don’t think citizens advice put enough on my form 🙈 so am waiting on the call and fight! I hope they know what they were doing

Can I ask what day of the week you found out and also what day your payment went in please?

I found put on a wednesday got paid next Wednesday but it was good Friday and Bank Holiday Monday so I don't count those days

Also they normally pay on a Tues or a Wednesday as my son gets his every 4 weeks Tues and my daughter now every 4 weeks Wednesday

I found out Friday so I'm wondering if payment will go in either tomorrow or Tuesday

Not sure whether to ring them tomorrow though

It will more than likely be Wednesday you get paid so wait till then before you call up xx

Has anyone managed to get through to DLA on the phone? I've tried every day since last Monday (apart from sat/sun) and been on hold for over 2 hours and gets cut off. Tried selecting a different option to speak to someone and the man was very rude and told me it wasn't his job and put the phone down. It's so frustratingz

Just got through after 33 minutes, this time I opted to take the customer satisfaction survey at the end of the call - anyone struggling to get through, I'd suggest doing the same.

Phoning late afternoon (4.45ish) seems to work - I've got through immediately at that time.

Hi I applied for my daughters DLA back in june last year and was knocked back but never got notified until I rang up in December, it was too late for mandatory reconsideration since then she’s had a stoma formed & she’s just turned 3 so I reapplied.. Are the chances of being accepted now a bit better because she’s 3 & her care needs have doubled compared to another child her age..

they received my forms on 26-2-24 I’m wondering how long the wait times are for any 1 with the same scan date as me..

@BMum6 my scan date is 21st feb so similar to yours and I’ve been told around 27th may. Hope it helps, I’m going to ring this week for an update but last time I checked it was waiting for decision maker x

Forms received 20 Dec and decision made this week.

Anyone else's scan date been fed ? I'm 2nd . So about 12 weeks in ATM. I did receive a letter last week saying they are still dealing with my claim . Just wondered if anyone else had similar scan date . Thanks

My scan date is 20th February and they told me around 9th June 😂 wish you could get a straight answer from them

@Maydeanna94 i have just rang today for an update and I’ve been told 10th July now, I don’t think they have a clue tbh. It just takes sooo long and I’m so inpatient haha

@Jess19944 its ridiculous I guarantee you ring again tomorrow they’d tell you a different date again 🤦‍♀️ I’m not the most patient person at the best of times 😂 I think the wait is annoying me even more as my little one is two and I was told I couldn’t apply for her till she was three until someone told me otherwise in January her needs have been a lot higher than the average baby since birth 😩

@Maydeanna94 I know how you feel my little boy is 7 nearly 8 years old and I could have got this support years ago but didn’t realise, haha I’m so inpatient too 🤣

I got my sons DLA finally Tuesday! It took 16 weeks and 4 days! Scan date 22nd December!

I got a letter this morning dated 4th April to say they are still looking into my claim. Has anybody else had this? If so how long after did you have a decision please?

I rang today git through in ten mins and was told it is taking 20 weeks now .

Our scan date was the 29 so ours should be here next week then

Do you always receive confirmation they have received the forms back? And when do you know your scan date ? Thank you
