I’ve just called them again, it’s still with a decision maker so 🤞🏻

How long does it take universal credit to pay the underpayment for the child disability element? They are currently doing manual calculations but it’s been over two weeks now and still getting the whole “it’s being looked at” on everyone of their replies!

Just got of phone and a decision was made yesterday 🙃 been awarded so gappy the stress is over my scan date was 20/12 so fingers crossed for everyone waiting

Does anyone know their process of looking at claims? As I’ve seen quite a few now that have had a decision with a scan date later than mine, 10/12. Mine is still with a DM, is it a sign that we will be declined? The not knowing is so frustrating

I rang at 4.30 today it was awarded yesterday hopefully not to longer for yourself

Thanks, I called a couple of hours ago and was told it was still with a decision maker. That’s been over a week now so not holding out much hope

Just called for an update, after initially being told I’d failed security I passed on the second call with the same details. I was told the current time for a renewal is 11weeks, we are at week 12 and said it is with a decision maker, this is what I was told after 7 weeks when I called (conveniently there were no notes put on to log the call) to see if they received it as I’d had no confirmation. I was assured today it only went to a decision maker yesterday and they should deal with renewals within 2 weeks of them being passed to them.

My scan date is 22nd Dec I rang them last week and they said it's with DM and that some are taking up to 20 weeks 😒

are they making the decisions before the claims run out for renewals? Have got to renew my sons in a few months and I’m worried it will stop if they haven’t made a decision before it finishes

When I first called to see if they had received it I was told if I had not had a decision by 1 week before it expired to call them and they would flag it up. She also said that it was with a decision maker at week 7 and would sit in the workflow until Approx 2 weeks before the renewal date yet at week 12 I was told it had only gone to a decision maker the day before and once with a decision maker it should only take 2 weeks to hear from them. They also said renewals should heard within 11 weeks of their scan date so passed me to someone else for further escalation. In 2 calls I have been told lots of conflicting information. 🤦‍♀️

I had a letter from DLA on 2/01/24 saying they received my claim on 19/12/23 I'm guessing that's the scan date if so anyone else with the same date still waiting to hear anything as I'm now in week 15 and not sure whether or I should contact them

Have they backdated it for you yet as I'm also waiting on this x

Have just got off the phone to DLA to be told its just gone through to DM where they need to gather more information if needed and i will receive a text if my daughter qualifies for it. So dread to think how much longer I shall be waiting now!

Scan date for my son was 18/12/2023 just rang to see if they had recieved the form for my daughter (they haven't I have to redo it. Joy.) And asked to check his claim to and was just told its open and that if I haven't heard by the 6th May to ring them again.

I've just received a txt today to say it with dm so hopefully find out soon

Phoned this afternoon and got through straight away (twice as was cut off!) at 4.45.

I thought I was in week 15 (received 20 Dec, scanned 9 Jan) but they said could be up to 5 more weeks.

Scan date 20/12/2023 got a text on Wednesday 03/04/2024 saying still looking at claim no need to contact and I got paid today which is 09/04/2024

Received 2nd DLA form for my 14yr old I first rang them up 13/12 how long now do I wait for a decision 17wks in total scan date 9/02

It's 15 to 20 weeks from your scan date. They are on forms received in mid-late December according to the FB group.

I've been waiting since 9th September come back with a decline. And now still waiting

Hi can I ask when do they go off how many weeks in total from the day you rang up or when it’s your scan date?? I rang up 13th December but I was 2ams late but wrote an attached letter explaining why so my date was 9th February I received my 2nd letter today so in total from the day I rang up it’s been 17wks but only been 9wks since scan date?? How long will it take

Mine got backdated from the day I rang up, and took 17weeks after the scan date as its taking around 3months for it to be seen now
