Good luck hun! I rang Friday morning and they told me my case was open but couldn't say if it was with a decision maker but it clearly was because it was awarded that day! Stay positive and strong my fingers are crossed for you and everyone else still waiting x

Was this new claim? X

Jess0991 · 07/08/2024 11:14

Yes this was a new claim it taken about 16 weeks

Squishmallow01 · 07/08/2024 12:39

18 weeks here, still waiting 😬

Squishmallow01 · 07/08/2024 13:19

I’ve just called and we have been awarded mid rate despite my day beginning with my son between 4-4.30am and him needing constant supervision (1:1 at school for safety)
I have asked them to reconsider this as surely getting up with your child each day between 4-4.30am isn’t normal daytime needs?
has anyone else ever asked for a reconsideration and a higher rate been awarded? Thanks xx

Jessie1003 · 07/08/2024 13:39

Congratulations I’m still waiting to hear

PLouise9 · 07/08/2024 14:49

(Scan date 12/04) Just rang for an update, was told decision could take up 20 weeks but I might be able to ring up next week and be told if one may have been made earlier. Was told it isnt with a decision maker. Just an update for anyone close to my date :)

Jess0991 · 07/08/2024 15:42

I have the exact same problems with my son even a letter from his deputy head who is in charge of senco wrote a letter explained in how he can't be alone all day even toilet lunch and playtime he constantly has 1 and 1 and ehcp and I'm been awarded MRC and LRM for him but I'm just accepting what I've got for him at this point it's still something and I'm thrilled x

Emssxo · 07/08/2024 16:05

found out my son was awarded MRC and LRM on 2/08 and backdated to 16th February. Can anyone please help me with how and what I do now in regards to updating universal credit and what I need to ask for/do? Been nervous about this part the most😔

Stacey0909 · 07/08/2024 18:10

Scan date the 11th of April phoned today for update and was told we should have a decision by the 29th of august 🙈it’s been a long wait

Jess0991 · 07/08/2024 19:07

report change with child on your journal and state what care he gets hun , I’ve rang and done mine today xx

Jess0991 · 07/08/2024 19:09

Brilliant news , did there tell you how long for your back payment to go in hun x

Sarahoscar · 07/08/2024 19:50

what bout uc

Emssxo · 08/08/2024 17:16

I’m hoping this helps people out a bit, scan date for my sons DLA was 5/4, he was awarded on the 2/8 and awarded MRC LRM. I rang up on Monday was told they couldn’t tell me over the phone and to wait for a letter. I received backpay from the 16/2 Wednesday morning. I rang again Wednesday and was put through to someone who could tell me what my son was awarded and then I received the award letter confirming this today so I’ve updated my uc with the help from. Overall it took took 17 weeks. Good luck to everyone still waiting I hope you get the answers you’re looking for soon x
