This is the same as me although my scan date is 5/04. Rang last Friday was told to wait till 20 weeks and wasn't with decision maker yet. 17 weeks on Friday! Fingers crossed similar people hear soon!🤞🏻😩

Hi my scan date was 08/04 still haven’t had a decision yet I’ve rang said up to 17 weeks

I’m still waiting on renewal. Scan date was 4th April and current dla expires next week on the 6th August. I phoned today and they said it’s being processed and I should get a decision before the current end date! The wait is painstaking, none of my little boys needs have changed (ex prem born at 28wks) and he is on high rate care. Don’t know how on earth it would be possible to go back to work if they reduce or stop it! Hope everyone gets the decision they are hoping for soon!

Hi does anybody know if you always receieve a text message when a decision has been made? I missed a phone call from them yesterday and when i got intouch with them today they said a decision has been made but wouldnt tell me the outcome over the phone. Its a MR i did a coc and nothing changed so asked for an MR i arent hopeful at all that anything will be different with this decision. Its taken me nearly 10.months in total for an coc and then an mr

What date was your mr scan date please ? Xx

My scan date was 12th april for the mr, so 15 weeks 2 days for a decision on that one xx

They don't always give you texts as I asked that for mine and never got it with my original new claim, that's crazy to have to wait 10 months, will you go tribunal?

I got refused on my coc so went for the mr, sure its a decline again. If it is i will be going to tribunal yes whats another potential 20 weeks i may aswell go the whole way with it x

Wow, good for you, I will go all the way as I know that's what my son deserves, what is it your trying to get if you don't mind me asking I currently get HRC and my son turns 3 in 2 weeks so going through COC for mobility side

When I rang told me up to 17 weeks horrible waiting a game isn’t it

Im going for hrc, i get mrc and lrm at the moment but i know my boy is entitled to higher its just pot luck who handles your claim i believe. Absolutely!! nobody else will fight for what they deserve so we have to. Fingers crossed for your claim. Im waiting for the letter as a decision was made on the 29th july but they wouldnt say what the decision was over the phone. But im not holding out hope for good news at all x

So i was wrong and i have actually been awarded something (guess 10 months of waiting and fighting gets you feeling a little negative) i believe its hrc, i had a back pay yesterday just awaiting the letter

Scan date 4th April due to expire 6th August. Phoned today and they said a decision had been made on the 30th and I’d receive a letter explaining in 7-10 days. I explained I needed to know urgently as the current claim ends in 2 working days and it effects other benefits such as carers allowance and he transferred me straight through to someone who advised my sons claim is continuing on high rate care. So happy. Hope everyone else gets the decisions they are hoping for.

Has anyone ever had a text from dla saying they have been trying to contact you but never had any missed calls? I’m coming up to 18 weeks still awaiting a decision

Mine was a new application rang today as it’s 18 weeks on Tuesday coming it’s with decision maker and should get a text in a couple days woman told me my scan date was 02/04 they wanted to ask me a question today asking me why they received pack late I sent it well before the deadline was down to Royal Mail not me

There told me up until end of August for a decision could be begin sept because I will know x

Reached week 17 waiting for a decision on my daughters New claim. Scan date 12/04. I'm also aware people who's scan date is before me havnt had a decision either. I think its so unacceptable to have people wait this long especially if the claim may be denied. It's ridiculous.

Good news for me finally. Scan date was 5/04 I rang this morning I was told my son has been awarded on 2/08/24 and would be back paid from 8/04/24. They are unable to tell me over the phone the rates for my child which is really unfortunate and I’m not sure why and he said that I will have to wait for the letter but said the letter should be with me in the next 10 days depending on Royal Mail. I'm currently crying my eyes out. Took 17 weeks x
