Can you just explain your reply a little bit more? I don’t quite understand what you mean? Also did you get asked to provide a birth certificate during the whole process? I just have a feeling they are going to ask for one.

I'm week 16 for a coc, I rang earlier and they didn't give me any info just said it could take up to 20 weeks

I phoned up this morning checking if extra evidence was scanned on, she said 14 weeks before it goes to a DM, I'm currently on week 6 of my COC

Hey, is anyone waiting for renewal with a scan date around April? My scan date was 04/04 and my little ones DLA is due to run out on the 08/08. I haven’t heard a thing and anxious as the expiry date is fast approaching! Anyone in the same boat with renewals?

I have seen alot of new claims being awarded the end if march and that's for a new claim so surely your not far if its renewal, have you phoned to check to see

Congratulations on your award and you should get carers element and severe disability element as far as I'm aware, was that a new claim or MR

Anyone had a decision from around the 11 th April? New claim had 2 letters both saying up to 15 weeks wait it’s 15 weeks this week hopefully hear something soon, do you get a letter first or does money hit bank accounts first?

my scan date was 19 /03 17 weeks mine was got it other day i know stressful but ur not long i only had 2 letters aswel just hold out i was the same massive relief when it comes ice been able treat my daughter put smile on her face got day trip booked which i never been able to afford goodluck

Most people say the money reaches their accounts before any letters hun. I'm 16 weeks this Friday and I know some people with similar dates are still waiting ☹️ getting unbearable now and I am definitely feeling emotional today about it all. my little boy has a lot of breakdowns he struggles so much regulating his emotions even if something is too loud if he doesn't have ear defenders on it will cause him to lose all control, due to this he's in desperate need of a new bed and things fixing and repaired in his bedroom it's so hard not being able to afford it yet and relying on if and when you'll get some help😞 I hope we all hear some answers soon because this is physically taking a toll on me I think.

Those who have been awarded DLA, do you ALWAYS get two letters before a decision? I’m 15 weeks now and only received one letter ages ago xx

dont think so it can only be one my mate said but i did have 2 hope this helps id say couple more weeks give it

im waiting on uc now thay cant give me time but ivw been told im owed some money ive been told 450 around a month thay owe me need back pay me but im unsure yet

hi anyone who’s been awarded do you get a text message? Saying you have Been awarded I’ve read this a few times but when my older daughter was awarded I never got one just money in the bank

same i just had money in my bank last friday then letter day after think it depends on people i rang last week and thay told me there was name on my case now which means someone is working on it anf then i was awarded hope this helps and if anyone has any info on uc now for me pls would be much helpful as seems like no one getting back to me on my jorney be different if i owed them money

I’m on week 22 for COC!!

7 weeks ago I was told it was with a case worker when I called. 3 weeks after that I called again and was told it should be with a case worker soon! The first person was clearly fobbing me off.

I will call again today or tomorrow for an update.

For my initial claim I received 2 letters and the payment was in my bank a few days after I got the award letter. This time I’m waiting for renewal and have only received one back in April.
