They said in my letter 56days and have to make s disision by 11july on mine hun

Have tou got yours yet ? Mine should have been high rate and they gave me lol hence I had to do a redetermanation xxx

Yes mine took nearly 15 weeks and I was declined mobility which was what we were trying to get them to change their mind about so I am going to have to take it to tribunal x

Mine is care fir daughter I got declined mobility buy care was low rate xc

Scan date was 8/3 for my son’s renewal which ends 12.07. Still waiting a decision he has high rate care and high rate mobility. Got a letter from carers allowance saying it will stop on the 16/07 do gave them a call the lady on the phone said she can see a date 2029? But nothing else on system like new rates so was put through to decision maker and she could only see a date for 2029 nothing else I just suppose I have to wait a while longer! Has anyone else had this it’s so confusing

seems like they could of extended your current award to 2029? X

Does anyone know if you decide to do a Mr do the payments stop?

No, they carry on paying you whatever you have been awarded

I don't know for certain but thinking 13 weeks plus but could be anytime with dla, I'm doing a COC and the letter it says 11 weeks but think it's more like 14 weeks at the minute

Applied for DLA for my son, applied on 13th May, they received my information on the 14th of June and said it will take upto 15 weeks, then the other day they requested his birth certificate. Is this normal, with them requesting his birth certificate does it mean they are already looking into his claim? He’s 2 with suspected ASD/ADHD and an ex prem 29 weeker.

I applied for dla for my daughter she's 9 years old she's having seazure for long months now and the form i send to the dla was 15.02.2024 she's having medication from her doctor but next week its will be exactly 20 weeks of the process but still nothing so i rang the dla last week friday to ask about the update and they told me that on the 7th june send a message to the doctor who deals with my daughter illnes they message her to send to dla report of epilepsy but she's not responding to the case manager so now i dont know what to do or what to expect from dla any ideas please thank you

Can you contact the dr yourself and get the report?

But they want the epilepsy report which i dont have it i can get from the gp only the medical report but not the epilepsy and the report what they want feom the consultant she's not responding from 7 june so with out her response the decision maker can't make the decision its so confusing me don't know what to do

I would try and get in touch with the consultant, they might be able to email it to you , or ask why they haven't responded, hope you get decision soon x

I applied for my son back in beginging February and got award end of May and they requested his birth certificate a month after I sent of the forms, even though they had passport number for him too so hit and miss with who they ask

I have to appeal also it's shocking all this don't understand how they can treat people like this to be honest , this week has been horrendous I could actually sit and cry xx

Late June early July I sent mine 19th feb scan day 14th March but received a phone call 4 days after sending it because somebody had put my address in the system wrong doesn’t add up to me but I’ve had 2 letters and a txt.

Get in touch with your doctor ask for a phone call appointment and he can deal with it there and then

Hi does anybody know how it works with UC? I had told them I'd sent a claim form for dla, and I have just told them I've been awarded, from 06/03/2024 they are now saying why I did tell them Sooner? I only found out Friday! What will happen with the disability element now? Will I get this backdated? Thank you

I done a COC on the 17th May my letter says 8 weeks have anyone done one recently are they really this quick?

You have to now ask them I have never had a problem even. When it was changed to high but apparently it is at the discretion of the dm you have to ask for it to be updated on your journal xx

I have done COC 7/06 and my letter says 11 weeks wait so unsure how long it's going to be but I wait 16 weeks for first claim when got awarded in may this year

Hi Everyone! Great news for us.
I put my Renewal claim in for my 2 children on the 2nd of June. Their claims run out 11th of July.

Just called up, answered within 7 minutes and told me both claims have been renewed at the same rate as before and for 4 years this time!

I had 2 letters one saying 11 weeks then 2 days later one saying 15 weeks. I'm currently on 14 week wait. I'm guessing it takes 15 weeks +
