Hi keep fighting sometimes it’s just worded wrong did you make sure you detailed care needs rather than diagnoses? it’s stupid I know but it’s based on care you have to detail everything you do

I can’t remember but Iv just been told I should have photo the paper work even tho I got my daughter support worker to fill in there part my mum said there cracking down on it but I’m going to keep fighting but still no letter yet so I can’t do Mr till that comes 😁

You can do a MR over the phone. As you may miss the deadline if wait for letter. Call them back and say you don’t agree and want it to go for MR. Truly terrible they have declined your daughter, I’m so sorry to hear of her struggles!

They are refuses alot of ppl now now as cuts in place ect . A women on the phone explained today the system has changed . Its upsetting too hear all these kids being let down but alot of adults pip is also being stopped .

If they do refuse we just need to apply for MR.
They are unbelievable, like they pay a lot...

I just called them to check if they got my forms I sent two weeks ago and they said they went on the system 2 days ago.

Yes, you will recive a letter confirming that.

I've had them call me today to find out some additional information, does that mean they are looking at it (scan date 29/1)

My scan date was 15/4/24 and still haven’t received a letter of confirmation. I had to call and ask if they had been received.

Hi Iv done Mr today said 8 weeks I forgot as a mother I care for my daughter anyway so I didn’t think I had to say what care she need lol as it my day to day life with her so please don’t make mistakes like me make sure you put more care down lol plus if anyone got copy of there get to know me from school make sure that goes in as well as it don’t matter how much proof you got from medical team it’s down to how much care then normal child needs like me send all proof but didn’t explain care as I do that everyday best of luck everyone

Scan date 26th jan…..I went from calling Monday being told the case wasn’t even with a case manager to having a payment this morning. Such a relief! - I have no idea what they’ve allocated as the amounts changed April. But I believe it’s middle rate.

Award dla on Thursday, got the text confirmation on Friday, does anyone have any idea if/when they will back date.

has anyone else received a text like this I’ve already had 2 letters now this text I rang up few weeks ago they said should hear back 17th may if I still haven’t ring up 21st and ask over the phone but today just got this msg?? We are still looking at your DLA1 Child claim. When a decision is made we will confirm it in writing. There is no need to contact us about it. My scan date was 09 Feb

Yes I got this text 1 week before they looked at my case

I received the same scan today, SCAN Date 12/02/2024.
I think this text messages are automatically sent, furthermore in the thred43 people reporting that even after a week they got the text nothing happened.

@ObsidianKnight69 think I will just wait it out I’m not too hopeful now as she’s just had her appointment with her consultants so I don’t think she will get anything now but good news she’s improving so that’s the most important thing 🙏
