Hi recieved a text saying my claim is eith case manager I started my claim 4th march so looks like its been pretty quick how long does it stay with case manager before you know

Have you heard back

Same scan date as me (29/1) I recieved the text saying they still are looking at it on Tuesday. Hoping to hear back soon

Scan dates 26th January - called today as it was 15 weeks Friday, isn't even with a case worker yet 😩she said last weeks time frames where 15-17 weeks, they haven't had any updates yet on this week on timescales.

I'm really confused on how they work these cases as others scanned after me have had caseworkers and decisions by now - and all the forms are sent to the same place

I am on hold as it states on my text message our team are reviewing my daughters application ?
When they are finished they will write to me does this mean it's with a case manager

OK just called a disision has been made on Friday letter sent out Saturday so wonder when I eill receive it as they don't say if I got it or not

I’m in the same boat decision was made letter was sent out on 7 may im still waiting for the letter they wouldn’t tell me over the phone letter still not came my scan date was 18 Jan 2024 they told me could take 10 working day for letter to get to me lol

Got the text to say
We are still looking at your DLA1 Child claim. When a decision is made we will confirm it in writing. There is no need to contact us about it.
Its been 15 weeks now 😔

I’d of thought if a decision was made 7th May you’re have had a payment by now if it was accepted.

No payment yet no post let my daughter as autism and bowel disease all medical professionals sent all letter and everything on 18 Jan this is new claim too she had this problem since birth didn’t no I could get help so I see what letter say when it comes 😐it’s scary wait …

If it was excepted I was told payment would be no more than a week later as my friend has it for her son , so don't know jist have to wait and see

You absolutely can be told over the phone if you’ve been awarded or not.
lots of people are told their awarded or if declined over the phone. Call back and ask to speak to someone who can tell you if awarded or declined as not had letter.

We are the same week then I rang today after text got told 21 June it will be decided .

my Scan date was 21st feb still not heard anything. Hoping won’t be much longer but looks like it’s taking a while.

15-18 weeks currently

People from 3rd week of January still waiting so you could be looking 4-6 weeks more!

@Kmcx93 Yes it saying around 20 weeks all in all. I’m on 11/12 week so yes I am expecting to be waiting longer.

Did you call them again?

They refused my daughter so I’m appealing

She got autism and bowel disease she 11 years old all evidence even school reports think it’s just one of them things

but I keep you all updated on how long this gonna be now

14 may called again they told me over the phone that they refused… but still waiting letter

That's horrible, Im so sorry for you and hope MR will come positive 🙏

This is truly unbelievable. I feel so sorry for her, especially considering her health issues.
It's incomprehensible how DLA could refuse her when she clearly meets all the criteria.
Have you made sure to send them the autism certificate and report? It's crucial for her case.

If I could put up the report think it would shock you on how they have refused but am very happy to take this all the way for her i hope she by me chocolate at the end of it because she don’t want to start school in September because of her issues yes she leak every day poo no medication as help her but if dla like me to send week worth of clothing I’m very much happy to do so as we don’t wash them anymore we throw away as her confidence isn’t good but I’m wishing you all the best I keep posted … 😌
