MR scan date 23rd June, was told yesterday its been with the dm a "few days" so hopefully will hear soon 🤞

@Mumof2gurls o wow u got it 2 wel done u wait is ova, my scan date was 6th but they awarded from march didn't tell me wat they paying in my bank

They told me @Kateplus8 said should receive payment in 3 to 5 working days and then next payment be 23th of august xx

I don’t have my daughters reference number it will be on the letter coming threw the post or can I ring them and ask them for it? Xx

Do you have to be claiming the carers to get the element? I already get the disibility element for my 11 yo x

Just had the text that I have been awarded! On hold now to see what we have gotten, was told earlier that it could take a week so very relieved! Good luck everyone still, I have my fingers crossed for you xx

My son was awarded DLA 2 weeks back and today I’ve missed a call from DWP, has anyone had anything similar? Not sure why they’d have a reason to call me now

How do I do tax credits wit out called, the lady who said it was awarded didn't say date from or wat she was getting so hopefully no when I get home xx

@kinzzzz no you don't, claiming actual carers allowance is completely different.

@Kateplus8 when you get your letter from DWP it'll tell you the dates, you can change your tax credits online by going to the child on your form and changing their circumstances - you'll get the extra elements added on and backpay if you make sure you put the scan date from DLA

So is it the scan date not the date they paying you from? Xx because I think you get paid from the day you requested your form?? Xx

My scan date was the 10th May, has anyone heard anything back around the same scan date?
Also if they say they have added a text alert for when your decision has been made, would they only say if it’s been rewarded or do they also say if it has been declined?

Right I’ve done all that on my uc so do you apply tor carets allowance separately? Or is it included in your uc? Xx

It’s the date you requested the form.. When you received the forms they will give you a date to complete the forms by to receive back pay, normally 4 weeks ..

And do they back pay on universal credit? Xx
