Scan date 12 April, with a DM, no sign of a decision yet.

Did they text you an award? I am ringing them for an update now, so sure she isn’t going to get it with me having no evidence but either way I just want to know now after waiting 12 weeks!

@Mumof2gurls Yes, they just text me to say she qualifies, but it doesn't say how long for or which rate....good luck to you! X

mine still isn’t with decision maker, rue lady aswell.

Maybe ring them so your not waiting al weekend they open till 6, and thankyou hun x

I did ring and she's got MRC for 2 years. She's only 2, so I'm not going to argue with that and it will definitely really help her. Good luck to everyone else, I really hope your little one's get what they should 💚 x

Hi all I'm new here I have been following for a while, congratulations 2 call that have had good news, my scan date is 6th of may my daughter is 10 has social emotional disorder learning difficultes and adhd she has run away a few time been brought bk by police an she else hard also constantly excluded from school, I've been waiting 11 weeks 2day an I'm worried she b declined,

@Spacemonkey2016 seeing as she only 2 have you a diagnosis? My daughter is 4 and it’s been impossible to get any help I’m in such a hard place because no one will
help to support me I am only hoping I will receive more support when she starts school in September xx

This is why I’m so sure I won’t get dla because I’ve just filled out the form myself no supporting letters or anything and only
people they can call is doctor who can only tell them she’s been referred to cahms and to broad oaks and been declined by both!! Don’t know what else I’m meant to do Xx

If they have given you supportive letters they may not need to contact them. I think you will be fine you have an actual diagnosis and supporting evidence! Can’t ask for much more can they xx

@Mumof2gurls Yes she does. She has anaphylaxis to lots of major food groups, and reacts on contact too, plus skin/gastro issues, so she's been diagnosed since she was about 8 months old, as obviously anaphylaxis is an immediate medical emergency. I know ASD conditions have such long wait times. My nephew is almost 8 and only just diagnosed after years of problems. I sympathise xx

Yeah it really is hard, teachers been to home and seen her and straight away they said they can see there is something it’s just so difficult when your alone with it xx

Hi lovely’s. Our scan date is the 16th of June but we sent the form off that we requested by phone on the 22nd of May. How long is the wait for a decision ? Is it worth giving them a call ? xx

@SallyCinnamon30 you're looking at a 12 week wait from the June day but if you get anything it'll be backdated to the mat date

@Bournecrazy yeah I keep checking out the Facebook group, there’s even some people who have been awarded from June so not sure how that works, I’m checking my bank every morning now which I know is a bit sad but ah well

Ahhh what dates in June? Early or later..?
