Dla waiting times march 2022

Hi everyone,
Anyone waiting for a decision for march guys .. I am so stressed about the outcome it would mean a great deal to my DD to get this award.

I receive child tax credit and unfortunately I don't get my payment till Sept. All I need on top of waiting for dla!

Hi lady’s just a quick question can I claim pip and DLA at the same time?

Dla is for under 16 yeat old pip is for adults you can only claim 1 or the other unless the pip is for y0u amd dla for your child

Pip is for me and applied for DLA for my son i didn’t know if you can get the both together

I'm in shock as I've just had the confirmation text saying 13yo DD is entitled to DLA and the paperwork should be here within a couple of weeks. I only applied for it as the support worker told me to and backed it up with evidence. I posted it the week after Easter and never chased it up.
The extra money will certainly be useful though. Maybe towards counselling or actives.

Yes you can claim pip and you child can claim fla the same time 🙂

hi Girls if my form was scanned on the 20th of may when will I get a decision?

I wouldn't like to guess as I rung them on weds and they were on 22nd April. Mine was scanned 28th April and she said about 2.more weeks.

Shanrawlinson hi some of us have waited longer mine took 15 weeks but I think they are taking around 12/14 weeks I would phone them around 12 weeks and chase it that’s what a lot of us have had to do 😳good luck

Hi everyone, just wondering once you let UC know about dla award and ask for a backdate payment how long will i be waiting for any changes to happen? X

Hiii I think it all depends on your dm, I called about mine Friday afternoon and they said it was still waiting to go to a dm, however when I called the following Tuesday they said it was awarded Friday late afternoon so it took them a couple of hours. However some people’s dm has had their apps for days or even a week. I waited nearly 12 weeks and mine was not the most straight forward as I had nobody to sign mine and only had one report.

Sorry but my son is not mobile at all so that might have sped up the process, hope this helps x

In my journal they said it will go to decision maker and will here in a few days 😳😳so hopefully next week

I had my sons follow up appointment today and he believes he has asd yet originally he thought it was adhd so i now have to wait for the report and send that in so that Will probably delay my claim now

so my son has been with the gp about all his development and care needs and it’s all on the medical record, should I send that in as extra evidence just because I know sometimes they don’t ring the people you’ve put on the form, but my sons medical record backs every thing I’ve said in my DLA forms🤷🏽‍♀️

Omg online it said the free address for dla under 16, I’ve put it in the post box already🤦🏽‍♀️ Will they return it to my address?😂 I’ve had enough omg

I’m sure they will get it , I just got that off my letter 😂

I couldn’t find my letter so i used Google and that’s the only address I could find🤦🏽‍♀️ My scan date is 26th so I know they’ll be getting close to making a decision soon, now I’m going to be panicking😂

I'm not sure about universal credit but I called tax credit and told them amd I have already had a backdated payment from them 2 days ago.It was super fast.Sorry iv been AWOL iv been moving my house around and fixing all the stuff my dc has broken I've the past year.my son is on LRM but is now getting a wheel chaire as his health professionals think he is getting worse I won't fight it though incase he loses his HRC

I’m so happy Leanne your able to get things sorted 😊hopefully Monday I will get the money and I get do something nice for my daughter when she comes out of hospital
