Did Gess really delete her membership

I sincerely hope that you didn't Gess. And I hope you're loitering with intent to return if you did.

I have to say you have my utmost respect, you have taught me much, not that you wish to be a teacher. You have been unfailingly helpful and kind. There have been times when you have acknowledged my input positively and I have felt really proud.

You are an extremely important part of this site to me. I know that we do not cross paths as often as in the past. I know that this is not the place you wish it to be any more.

Even if you don't return, I hope you understand that you are valued and respected.

totally agree with teh OP. not that she, er, wants to be a teacher but she's taught me a lot and is generally a much-needed Voice of Reason on MN.

We should start a "Bring Back Gess" campaign and have Tamum or someone email her!

After all she's not "one of those people" who starts a thread to announce their intention to go.. she just quietly went.. and was upset enough to delete her membership as she went (
