He's just imitated me spontaneously!!!!!!!!!!

DS1 was sitting on my lap having a cuddle. I stuck my tongue out, then he did the same (big tickles etc). I did it again- he did it again, then again and so on!!! I touched my nose, then he touched his nose!!!!!!!!!

No prompts at all- he just imitated.

Trying not to get oo excited as he'll probably never do it again!

Great Jimjams! Maybe the climbing is a side effect of becoming more aware? I think there's certainly many-a double edged sword!

Angeliz · 13/09/2004 21:28

That's great Jimjams +

tamum · 13/09/2004 21:57

Only just saw this- brilliant news, really brilliant. I was really hoping this was him when I saw the thread title. Well done little jimjams!

zebra · 13/09/2004 21:58

Do let us know if he does it again.

Jimjams · 14/09/2004 20:55

Well he came over and stirred his bread mixture today when I left it for a bit

You could be right about the awareness thing Davros, everyone is saying that he is more aware. And I must email you as I've just found out that you've been talking to a friend of mine recently!

Talking about supervisors/consultants. I think you are going to be having the same one . She was my first "autism" friend.
