I have pushed him up and down the village, and around the garden, let him have a go himself, and he is soooo chuffed

Cried his eyes out when I said it was time to get out of it.

At last!!!!!!

What a great thread to arrive back from my holidays to (it was the first one I clicked on when I logged on to MN, but I haven't had chance to post before now).

Lou, you and dh must be so proud - way to go, ds2 I am soooooo pleased to hear he is whizzing around in his funky wheels! Your account of Sports Day made me cry: he's a very special boy.

suzywong · 25/07/2004 21:36

And it is such a smart set of wheels, blue and very snazzy too. DS2 showed it to me today and his sister told me he can push it himself and go anywhere he wants.

Just caught up with this thread Lou, and will simply repeat whateveryone else has said, complete with tears in my eyes ..... I now have a lovely mental image of your ds zooming around the playground shouting "emergency"

lou33 · 26/07/2004 18:51

He insisted on sitting in it while we are spacemonkeys new house, while her sister was around, and said he was driving her to Sainsbury's to get the shopping . It's great seeing him feeling so independent!
