Sad day in the Eidsvold house....

Just had word that FIL passed away this morning - your time. I have to tell dh although I think he already knows by the message on his phone.

My FIL passed away in January, dh was devastated at the time but he has made his peace with it now. I'll be thinking of you, what a terrible thing to have to tell your dh

he had cancer and we knew for a few days it was not far off but when he was first diagnosed - not that long ago - he was doing so well - he seemed to just go downhill so quickly.

It was very peaceful with the rest of his children and mil with him.
