I just wanted to wish you all a very merry Christmas from me, DH and the four bear cubs. It's been lovely getting to know many of you over this year and to receive help and advice and to be able to give some of you the benefit of my er...... "wisdom and experience"

Happy Christmas to you too. Just got back from Gran Canaria and we have guests for a few days, so it is all a bit manic. I've lost DH to the supermarket scrum and the baby will not be put down for one second. Other two are making a mess faster than I can clear up and the house was a tip before I even tried.

ALL the presents to wrap too!

Nothing for it then but to go onto MN!

Well Justa according to Norad he has just dropped off at New Plymouth! and on his way to caledonia so I hope you got the stockings out on time

Totally unorganised household this morning. House upside down. Pressies wrapped just two more to do later. Second coffee and DS is dropping more toys and crumbs in my path as fast as I clean up following me with roving reports off Norad (its going to wear thin lol). If only I had velcro suits and I could stick the children to the wall for the day with the TV to watch lol.

dd and ds bouncing around screaming and laughing. Dd has helped in the kitchen by taking clean stuff out and loading the dishwasher she's 21mths
Ds is dancing round to all the songs on Muppet Christmas carol. Dh is talking to the fridge and trying to persuade it to fit in the M&S desserts he's just bought

DS2 just doesn't get the idea of Santa. He's a bit scared when he sees one and pushes away any pictures.

DS1 only started to believe, last year. He's 9 and all his classmates have grown out of the idea. We're not going to burst his bubble, but we're not actively encouraging him, either. I shall probably "forget" to bring a couple of things down, tonight, and bring them down later in the morning without any pretence that they were left in the wrong room, just to help him gently put 2 and 2 together.

Still cleaning! turfed out more than I should have so I am going to find a big cupboard to hide it all in lol.

Lost rolling pin and every bottle in the house is a square one so DD is furious as she is trying to ice her cake that she made for us in scouts. (believe me the newly formed PMT is scorching us all today!)

DS now hooked on minecraft and no I dont care today I need him glued to something lol.

No visitors as the inlaws have finally spat their dummy out and wont be visiting the children. I am glad as the smiley pressure is off so its go get DD in the morning and party on!

Now just to chase the jack russel who has pinched my duster!

Velcro suit for 1 jack Russell coming up!

I dont know why I am pulling out under my futon and de bugging it. No one is going under there or is going to eat there lol. Its a xmas thing.....

Coff33 so with you on the Minecraft thing. Absolutely hate it plus the YouTube videos where two blokes drone on endlessly about it, BUT it keeps the two boys occupied while I charge round relentlessly stressing about the state of the bathrooms etc.

Of course, DS1 is reminding me why I spent so much of last Christmas chanting "peace and goodwill!"

goodwills wearing thin lol. If I pick up one more nerf bullet out of my trifle there is going to be trouble :)

The inlaws have decided they are coming.........AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Oh and the water tank has gone POP so we have no hot water.

But! I have a kettle and am making a VERY strong coffee! :)
