Here are some suggested organisations that offer expert advice on special needs.

Someone somewhere has it in for me I am sure

Just opened a letter (oh yeah its the saturday dwell on the doom till Monday post again!)

Here we go again. Letter posted Thurs to tell me a SW is coming on MONDAY to discuss a referral received to their department (referral and assessment dept)

I have been happy DS has been the happiest he has been and all is going wonderful with the transition set up from home to Juniors. Great courses, great insight and we have felt we are seeing the light.

And now some bugger has gone and done this. He is not a child in need we are a family in need who needs to be left the hell alone!

The time limit on visiting means it must be important for them to want to come so quick. Paranoia is setting in plus anger.

First old school trying to contact camhs and failing now this.

Delighted it went so well coff. TBH after the nightmare you've had it's probably a good thing to know you have a nice SW report on file 'just in case'. And every decent professional helps undo some of the damage that awful school caused to your faith in human nature!

Great to hear all went well. Is that it now or will the SW be making return visits? How bloody annoying that some busy body can just refer you I would be really Angry but at least you got to show what an absolute fantastic job you are doing well done you Grin

Coff, pleased it went well.

I can tell you that it was very unlikely to have been a professional who reported you, as they get training on the way to do it and that would involve discussing it with you. Not saying it is impossible, but unlikely.

Coff - great news.

I also think it was your neighbours who reported you....when I was EHE I got a lot of hassle from the neighbours over the road (the wife worked as a dinner lady at the school that damaged my son) They didnt report me, but I do wonder if we had stayed in the area if they would have eventually....

Really glad it went well and was a relatively short visit too. :)

Thanks all :)

Yes EHE is Elective Home Education Wet. After the trip fiasco DS never went back. Had a meeting with Juniors with everyone there bar the infants who I did not invite. So it was more positive and also the proffs and the other school were able to more freely declare their support and disapointment at the infants (in a very proffesional read between the lines manner iyswim Wink)

So it was agreed the best way forward was to cut ties with the other school and EHE for the last few weeks. Get ASD Team on board who have been good so far and DS is now attending Juniors twice a week till the school hols start just for an hour each of the days. He loves it there and it also gives the LA time to prepare his reviewed statement with the London stuff in so it works both ways.

NOW if you lot had put in £2.50 each to buy my neighbours house as a holiday home for you all I wouldnt have this nasty nosy great busy body still next door would I? COME ON CHIP IN! Grin Grin Grin

DS has settled back down now. I had a reserved excavate your own dinosaur nest for him to do so he focused on that.

Got his appointment for his bloods to be taken and sent up to London tomorrow for this underlying/genetic/biomedical testing thingy tomorrow. Hes been dying to find out what goes into those little tubes at the docs so he will find out tomorrow Grin
