Sure! May as well use the pool for SOMETHING!

Although, isn't there a hosepipe ban?

SparkleRainbow · 14/06/2012 12:18

Starlight.....hoping your silence means good things, and fast weight loss!

PurplePidjin · 14/06/2012 12:24

Everyone bring a bottle of Perrier, this baby's gonna be posh

StarlightOverJuicy · 14/06/2012 12:44

Mw appointment. Baby's head is free again!

StarlightOverJuicy · 14/06/2012 12:47

Lol at posh! Hardly any of you have met me or seen my MN haircut or limited uncoordinated wardrobe!

I think he must be waiting for Auntie Wet to return from holidays!

PurplePidjin · 14/06/2012 13:14

StarlightOverJuicy · 14/06/2012 13:18

Heads can go up and down lots with numbers. 2345 or 6.

I saw a consultant at 11 days 'overdue' with dd2 who wrote 'trial of labour' on my notes. I was young and ignorant then i would twat him one now.

I think we should fill it with champagne and start celebrating babys arrival early, baby then might want to join the party!

SparkleRainbow · 14/06/2012 16:46

I was hopeful for you earlier, but see you are still hanging in there starlight. x

StarlightOverJuicy · 14/06/2012 19:12

lol DH!

Had a bit of a traumatic day with phonecalls back and forth about seeing a consultant etc. and arguments about dates.

All sorted now, thankfully. Poor midwife though. I genuinely feel bad for her having had to deal with me. She was genuinely professional and trying to understand. Quite different from the usual 'professionals'.

I think perhaps the difference is that she doesn't hold any power over me, so has to argue with common sense, logic and genuine care.

DS' professionals can say simply 'no, because I said so and I'm a professional'!

You're probably right zzzzz. I think even the good professionals in Ds' case come across as bad because they have been 'warned about me' and subsequently start out as defensive and hostile.

S'cuse me, sorry to interrupt but did someone mention champagne? Where is it? Well if Star won't get a shift on, we may as well make the wait more thirst quenching???

StarlightOverJuicy · 15/06/2012 03:32

Well getting irregular but painful BH and constant back ache.

madwomanintheattic · 15/06/2012 04:37

Ooooo. They are all asleep! I'm not and have just noticed this was a wee while ago! How are you doing? Any more regular? Can't offer Perrier for the pool, but I can send glacial water from the mountains? It's a bit parky, but v pure?

madwomanintheattic · 15/06/2012 06:22

Ah well.
Good luck or sweet dreams if you've given up and gone to bed x
