my ds couldn't do MS or home tutition but he's coping with an independent ASD SS, although he won't engage with any learning. MS wouldn't (and didn't) know what to do with him.

Used to be a regular (or irregular ) but was scared off when accused of being jealous of someone else respite. Whole trolling and sock puppetry episode, think a few regs were scared off then as well.

The SN board was amazing when I first started using it, it was 2008 and DS2 has just been diagnosed with autism and I was just about to have DS3! I can remember HangingBellyofBabylon being incredibly helpful and Silverfrog was amazing as well.

I wouldn't be here today if it weren't for the help I received on this board over the first 2 years of DS2s DX.

I have seen a lot of anti-inappropriate-SS though as a solution to not providing adequately elsewhere.

My Ds is in a SS. On the open day when we were thinking about it th HT said 'of course none of you actually WANT your children to be here!' an I thought 'what on earth is DH talking about? I want Ds here right away!'
