why? Shock why would they do that?

StarlightMcEggsie · 05/04/2012 16:29

Come now, don't be shy......why don't you post something?

OP posts:
StarlightMcEggsie · 05/04/2012 16:31

I've known for a year that one of them uses good taxpayers money on Starlight surveillance, but I guess the first tipped off the second. Dunno.

I've gotta get a medal for this or something!

cronsilksilt · 05/04/2012 16:32

actually I could do that job...watch MN all day in case you post. Is there an application form? I quite fancy working from home and my rates are good.

WetAugust · 05/04/2012 16:34

Is that going to negate your current course of action?

StarlightMcEggsie · 05/04/2012 16:35

But I post about 25 posts an hour on average Hmm.

It must take them FOREVER!

OP posts:
cronsilksilt · 05/04/2012 16:35

maybe they have people on shifts to snoop on you.

StarlightMcEggsie · 05/04/2012 16:36

No Wet. It doesn't make any difference to anything in the long run.

Tribunals all a bit all over the place though because it is full of speculation from BOTH LAs based on my posts.

OP posts:
StarlightMcEggsie · 05/04/2012 16:37

Because I've known for so long about one I've often made things up anyhow!

SallyBear · 05/04/2012 16:38

Star. You're a serial poster?? Good grief!! GrinGrin FFS. Why shouldn't you? Do you say anything inflammatory and libellous? Rhetorical. Wink

StarlightMcEggsie · 05/04/2012 16:41

I doubt it.

I said I got HRC for DLA once that had me hauled into the benefit office to answer allegations of fraud. I found out recently that the HT of the cool Ds was about to attend had told the board of governors all about it even though we had moved across the county since!

OP posts:
StarlightMcEggsie · 05/04/2012 16:41

Dunno how she knew about it unless LA involved.

OP posts:
WetAugust · 05/04/2012 16:45

Star Isn't this the same sort of misuse of publiuc powers that had the LA that snooped on that parent just to make sure she did live in the area she was seeking a school admission for?

I'd report the fuckers.

Looks like you will just have to go with your original plan to ask your cousin, the High Court judge, to look into the LA's snooping.

appropriatelyemployed · 05/04/2012 16:46

That is disgraceful Star. What have they said? That they have counted your posts? What on earth for? How is that supposed to be evidence?

I would complain that this is harassment.

appropriatelyemployed · 05/04/2012 16:47

Malfeasance in a public office?

cronsilksilt · 05/04/2012 16:50

isn't stalking a crime?

StarlightMcEggsie · 05/04/2012 16:56

No it was me that suggest my no of posts to highlight how much drivel they'd have to through.

They have some information they say ds's school have given them. Ds' school haven't got the information. Hmm

One LA EP threatened DS old school to give her answers to everything she asked or else she woukd tell the tribunal and they woukd order it and she'd be in trouble. I believe she told old EP that we were moving. However at that point we had no firm plans to move authority even though we were in fact planning to move house.

If they are doing this it comes under RIPA.

In a further case in 2010 Poole Borough Council was accused of spying unfairly on a family. Although the Council invoked powers under RIPA to establish whether a family fell into a certain school catchment area, when taken before the Investigatory Powers Tribunal it was found guilty of improper use of surveillance powers

Here's who to complain to

The 2000 Act established the Investigatory Powers Tribunal to hear complaints about surveillance by public bodies. The Tribunal replaced the Interception of Communications Tribunal, the Security Service Tribunal, and the Intelligence Services Tribunal with effect from 2 October 2000.

Between 2000 and 2009 the Tribunal has only upheld 4 out of 956 complaints

.... so a bit like the LGO then Sad

appropriatelyemployed · 05/04/2012 17:09

I should add that libel doesn't apply if what you say is TRUE anyway - little shits.

appropriatelyemployed · 05/04/2012 17:19

You could make a FOI request regarding RIPA - see here

Bloody hell, I've been stalking you for ages - I feel really short changed that I could have been paid for it!!! Grin

Minx179 · 05/04/2012 18:39

That's terrible. Feel for you Star fuckers It's bad enough what you go through without the LA attempting to collating info online.

Do you think your 25 posts an hour will be held up in judgement against your parenting skills? Smile

Perhaps you should change your name again to Starlightcounterspy

Triggles · 05/04/2012 19:17

It still baffles me why they would bother. Surely you give them the info they need, so what would they gain by stalking you online?

I say the same things on here that I say at school meetings or paed appointments... DS2 having difficulties with this... improving in this, but now stressing over that.... Having a stressful day... blah blah

Just cannot imagine it would do anything but bore them to tears.....
