Everyone needs to see this: www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2046924/Parent-child-ADHD-Have-free-car-1-5bn-taxpayer-funded-scheme.html

I'm so angry I can barely speak. Would anyone be prepared to join me in putting together some sort of pressure group to stop this? I could have cried when it mentioned naughty child syndrome. I think my son has ADHD and he gets overstimulated and is frightened. Why shouldn't such families be entitled to a car? SN, mental or physical massively impact on any family. I'm sure there are better brains than mine who can think of a way to make a stand. Please feel free to include any ideas or thoughts and perhaps we can consolidate them and try to fight this.

I dont know Madame, it's not clear if it was a quote that he made or a term that has been branded about and quoted in the article by the newspaper.

I jumped the gun there asking for HIM to apologise for using that term when it's not clear if he did actually say it. But then again, these things never are clear to avoid getting themselves into trouble.

I doubt IDM used the term (at least publicly) but they have written it like that to give credence to their article about benefit scroungers.
Of course the little insignificant point of them getting their facts totally wrong bears no semblance of importance to the overall picture they have (successfully) portrayed; that these kids are 'naughty', that their parents are rubbish and do not discipline these kids but rather deliberately invent this condition to get a new car (woop-de-do) and to avoid parroting our children.

That's in summation what it says and that's exactly what the ignorant public will choose to believe.
what IDS actually said is actually pretty irrelevant in their great scheme of things; making deviants of people who receive DLA. That's their plan.

*parenting not parroting! Bloody spell check is way too keen!

The revision doesn't get rid of all the things I complained about, but I'll need to check exactly which ones are left and I won't really have time till the weekend
