Ive had waiting times over the years for assessments and appointments, but this waiting time is awful 😞

10 weeks takes me to christmas so im going to contact 1st week of Jan if ive heard nothing by then.

I’m 07/08 too, I don’t think ai appreciates me asking how long anymore 😅 it’s agonising waiting… but I’m hoping we will have had a DM by the weekend 🤞🏻

Nc 6/8 still waiting.. I called on Friday to see how far we were, as I thought I may be able to get some extra evidence in. ( I was surprised by how quickly there were processing forms as I was expecting 20 + week wait) But I had a very curt lady who said we have still plenty of time to submit extra paperwork. So looks like a longer wait for us.

I rang last week and they told me that it’s around 12 weeks for a decision, but then again I feel like they tell people different things all of the time 😬

Scan date 5/8 called this morning for an update, was told it’s with a case manager and I will hopefully hear soon but I will get a text.. I’ve seen people get a decision the same day and I haven’t heard anything so I’m assuming a decline for us 😔

Don’t lose heart yet, it could be in a queue with the decision maker and not have been looked at yet, or they need more time to go through everything, the text will be sent the next working day to a decision being made in some cases. I’m 7/8 SD and I think if I’m luckily mine will be with a decision maker Wednesday but even then it could be another week or two, keep checking your bank every morning and hopefully there will be a nice surprise for you 😊

What scan date are we up to? I haven’t noticed much movement since 4th August dates. (Desperately waiting for 10/8)

Hopefully not to much longer, my sd is a few days after yours. Im so worried my boy won't get it. I included so much evidence and paperwork from the various professionals hes under. School plans and his EHCP.

Does anyone know if we have to ask for a text when decision is made or will they text automatically?

I’ve also included a lot of paperwork (I’m actually worried I gave them too much to read 🤦🏼‍♀️). I was wondering about the text. I might pluck up courage to call them again tomorrow and I’ll ask.

Yes, I wasnt sure if we get it automatically or not. Maybe il give them a ring and check il get a text aswell.

We might be lucky, some with SD a month before us are getting payments and desicions now. Might be before Christmas 🤞🏽

Nothing yet. I’m hoping 07/08 SD will be being looked at tomorrow. If I’ve not heard anything I’ll ring fri am and ask if I have time to send some new reports and referral letters as a guide of seeing where I am in the queue lol

Ive just reported a coc for my 15yo, he gots mrc until 2028 but will switch to pip may 2027... he should definitely be getting hrc now so ive decided to bite the bullet and get it done 😩 NC forms was sent off yesterday next day signed for so they should get them today for my daughter. In my head ive told myself I wont chase until Jan for my daughters nc as will be 12w mark then but I havent a clue about coc! Hes been on dla for 10 years and ive never had to do one before 🤦‍♀️

if you get awarded, are the back payments sent on any day of the week or is it a set day like monthly payments would be? Also does the text arrive before the payment? TIA
