Well Ive not been on here a while , mums death has knocked me for 6 ( so quick and unexpected - a lot of emotions )

I took time out of SW, I didnt want to deal with the sympathy, but I went back around May - well in time for me not to be charged anyways :)

Im struggling at the moment Heaviest Ive been in a year. Can not get below top of target and after taking the plunge of finally clearing out my bigger sized clothes, there has been a few nights where Ive had to open the button

So much happening at home. Seems like I have guests every other weekend. My walking buddies have fallen by the by so I dont get so many steps in , and Im so tired, Im back to using the odd jar

But enough is enough , Im not going back to where I was

So I joined a gym this week - 6 week programme - 18 sessions , did my second tonight - and whilst they are very good and make adjustments for my injury ( ripped all the tendons in neck and shoulder ) , it was still very challenging , but I really enjoyed it

Hoping that this will help get me back on track

Hoping also Ill be around a bit more

Welcome @PearlsTeapot. Good luck on the journey.

Forgot to mention my weigh in last week. Gained 1lb but it was deserved when I looked back over the course of the week and counted the treats and snacks etc. Hoping to wipe that off with tomorrows weigh in.

Good to see you back @suki1964.
Hopefully SW and the gym will focus you and get you back on track. One step at a time.

Day 2 and I've had about 50 swips as we went out for dinner. Ooops. Try again tomorrow?

That's the trick @PearlsTeapot , you had a cock up today , but that's today, not tomorrow.

Start again and every meal you get on plan is a win

@Wilma55 , thankyou my lovely. Ive never really lost the plot, just been emotionally not eating ,, then having pig outs every couple of days - have become very disordered

Gym is really to hep me build upper body strength and general balance and mobility , but the extra calorie burning is a welcome addition for sure . Ive been stalled at 1300 cals for so long and tbh it's hard work to keep at that and still live a life . So hoping this programme will reset the metabolism and. give me the leeway I need

I think 50 swips is good for a meal out!
The trick is to draw a line and continue on plan. You’ll hopefully find that you still have a good result on the scales.

Thank you! It was bad timing to start SW as we’re also out for an Indian tonight. But I plan to have an excellent 5/7 days.
