Im doing this now and making a commitment to myself that after this week I will be back on the straight and narrow. I don’t think I’ve gained much. But I’ve been off slimming world since mid November. My clothes still fit perfectly. I just feel shite in myself. I’ve been, not over eating but picking at crisps, chocolate, cake... wine! And it’s now starting to catch up with me in terms of my mood and energy levels and I just feel utterly CRAP.
It’s my daughters birthday today so there’s no chance i can avoid being naughty today.
I don’t know why I do it to myself. I love cooking. I love veg and salads and all the things that come with slimming world I just need to get back into the routine of planning ahead! That’s my downfall I think. would any one like to share some packed lunch ideas for work? I don’t have access to a fridge or a microwave either if that helps.

Hello @MySlimmingJourney AMAZING! Congratulations!! Well done! What have been your favourite meals? x

BeigeFoodLover · 28/02/2020 17:38

(Also, 1lb loss, this week, not amazing, but I've set up a spreadsheet and can totally see why!)

Ginnyrellas · 01/03/2020 10:33

Good Morning all! How are we all doing?
welcome @MySlimmingJourney Well done on the great start.
Ive been okayish with the eating side of things this week. Still quite bad on the drinking side of things this weekend! Ill never learn.
@BeigeFoodLover Fab idea with the spread sheet. I think I might do the same!

MySlimmingJourney · 01/03/2020 10:35

BeigeFoodLover · 01/03/2020 15:02

Ginnyrellas · 08/03/2020 12:12

Happy Sunday everyone? how are we all doing?

feeling a little bit better this week. Eating and cooking has been going well for me.I suspect thats down to my new kitchen gadget and me actually wanting to use it lol! The Ninja Foodi is incredible if you're in to gadgets lol! I managed to do a full fish pie cooked and ready in 40 mins super time saving too.

I haven't weighed though. Im trying to just listen to the way my body feels. (very hippy I know) and how I feel in my clothes and in myself.
I hope your all having a fabulous day!

BeigeFoodLover · 09/03/2020 12:34

I have just checked what Ninja Foodie is @Ginnyrellas - I am SO ENVIOUS! That looks brilliant!

I'm just about to bin my slow cooker as it just never does as it's meant to.

I'm feeling ok, had a blow out weekend, and am nervous as every weekend between now and next month has 'something' that requires lots of food and drink. But I guess I'll just have to knuckle down and either be super strict in the week, lower my expectations, or try and be strong when out. I found eating out my biggest problem, nothing seems to fit within my remit!

Ginnyrellas · 09/03/2020 12:40

@Beige
It’s so hard being a social butterfly and trying to be good, id be super vigilant through the week and tell yourself, max 5 syns per day and save those extra 10 syns per day for your weekend, then it will all work out. Throw some SP days in on Mondays for good measure! You can enjoy your weekends and still feel fantastic!

BeigeFoodLover · 09/03/2020 12:59

@ginnyrellas That's a really good plan! Thank you! x

Ginnyrellas · 20/03/2020 16:44

Anyone struggling to stay on plan with all this bullfuckery stock piling shit funnels about? 😢

BeigeFoodLover · 01/04/2020 15:19

Sorry @ginnyrellas I've been avoiding MN because I found it so depressing!

I have struggled, mainly becuase I've been drinking double my syns! However, I think we've finally got a good stock of food over the last couple of weeks, and I feel a bit more in control. Not losing any weight though.

Ginnyrellas · 20/04/2020 16:56

@BeigeFoodLover

I hear you on avoiding MN and I’m in exactly the same boat. My syns are going in my drinks! I’m walking 35 miles a week to work and back and the weight should be falling off me but it isn’t. I’m feeling disappointed in myself and bloated and crappy again. I need some motivation I think x
