Please help!!
I have previously done the controlled crying method with my DD and it worked a treat, she still goes to bed every night sleepy but awake and is asleep within 10-15 minutes.
The problem is staying asleep.

Since lockdown she has been waking up every night after 5 hours crying uncontrollably and shouting/screaming. I assume this is nightmares, however she can't tell me so i don't know.

Further to this it takes a minimum of 3 hours to calm her down and get her to sleep again, i'm now getting desperate and so tired especially as its ruining our routine and we both end up waking up later, please help!!!! Xx

Hi There Kirstycoop12,

Thanks for posting - we're so sorry to hear what a tough time you're having with disrupted and interrupted sleep.

We've no magic fixes sadly but you might want to post in Parenting instead as it's likely you'll find more helpful advice there.

We hope things improve for you soon

I wish I had the answer for you but just wanted to say I am right there with you Envy

DS , 2 last month , going down at night is absolutely fine but will not sleep through and it takes hours to resettle. I've gotten into the terrible habit of taking him into my bed a lot of the time which has probably made it worst but I'm just shattered.

So following along hoping you get some miracle answer.
