It's 24 degrees In our room and that's the coolest room in the house. Can u put my 1 month old down in just a nappy? Terrified of her overheating. She's up every two hours so I can add clothes if needed later on.

My Mum (Italian) brought proper cotton and linen cot sheets back from Italy when I had my babies. We never used those bag things, just layers of sheets and blankets depending on the temp. You can tuck them in really tight too, so the baby feels safe. In the summer, my first was born in 1997 record breaking July/August temps, the bedrooms were 28c overnight. She slept just in her nappy, but with a light cotton sheet over her to stop her getting chilled. Are cot sheets even still a thing ??

It's 23 in our room and my 3 week old is in a long sleeved cotton baby grow, no vest underneath. I was putting a vest on but he seemed warm when I did the night change so I've ditched it and he seems more comfortable. He will be tucked in with a blanket but he kicks it off in around 3 minutes flat
