I'm new to Mumsnet, this is my second post...Accidentally posted in the long-haul section...this might be a better option however! I'm a single mother to a seven year old and keen to go skiing with her in February half term next year. None of my friends or family are organised enough to plan that far ahead and I want to book soon. This will be dd's first ski trip, I've been skiing 3 times before but years ago. I've come across a website for lone parents, Mango holidays, that specialise in holidays for single parents (mums and dads). They have a ski trip to Romania in Feb half term. I was wondering if anyone had travelled with them before? I like the idea of having adult company and that dd will have children to play with after skiing. Anyone know anything about them?
If not, have any other lone parents been skiing with the DCs? How did you find the social element? Was it easy to meet others? Any companies you'd recommend?
Thanks!
