I want something proper but stylish!

Not Patagonia!

I think DS's were Burton (the board was). They didnt have a strap - you clicked the heel in and then sort of snapped the toe in. He did a fair bit of off piste but we only had one real powder day so maybe didnt test them fully.

I'm a boarder and I got myself dungaree trousers from Burton a few years ago. They have zips at the sides for going to the loo.

I also have a coat from Horsefeathers it's a longer style. The pockets are great I don't need to take a rucksack fits all my stuff.

I couldn't care less what others think of those brands or if I look like eternal teenager. Let's face it as I'm getting closer to 50 each year people do seem to wonder why I'm still snowboarding. One young bloke said to me couple of years ago 'Oh I thought snowboarding was something women did in their 20s' erm well I was in my 20s when I started you berk.

Perfect answer 🤣

Just spoke to my husband about the slip in bindings. He claimed he had some a few years ago. I don't remember. He ebayed them in the end as he didn't get on with them. He said once a bit of snow got in them they were a nightmare to put on. I'm liking the look of those ones posted above though so you stick have the rachet for in the powder

Thread has gone somewhat off piste. It’s always the snowboarders’ fault 😉
