Didn't understand threads about 'I killed a thread' until..

I did it today. Twice. Made me feel like a boring old fart!

I have the same problem. I tend to kill threads or get ignored . I'm new so feel like I should maybe just go away & bore my poor DH instead! I'm sure you're not boring.

I feel boring! It amazes me that the MNers recognise so many other people.

I'm always killing threads
I try to remind myself there are millions of threads and if I kill a few its only a small percentage

I can't switch the computer off until I look at "threads I'm on" and every single one of them has me as the last poster.

Which means I have to either be very boring or type reeeeeally quickly.

yep, and then when I see that I am the last poster (sometimes I'm hitting the refresh button for quite a while!) I get all uppity and think "no bugger want to talk to me!"
