Turns out we'd written the intro to the newsletter asking people to vote in the name change poll and then just as we were sending it out someone realised the poll was supposed to have closed, so in a last minute panic twas decided to extend the competition deadline. So, well, in truth we've sort of mucked up. So... let's hope the right result prevails and if not, promise we'll make it up to you?

To mitigate in my favour, for the defence, I'd like to add:

1. My name is entirely original and NEVER used for any previous Christmas name.

1. I nominated Plonker and suggested many other competitors people demonstrating my generosity of spirit
