Is it possible to have an 'IGNORE' feature for threads?

I have already asked mumsnet for this and they say they have no plans but I'd be interested to see if anyone else would appreciate an 'ignore' feature - like a reverse 'watch'. If you put an 'ignore' on a thread it wouldn't appear in your active convos.

Personally I would find this helpful after the huge number of distressing threads that can get very unpleasant.

Anyone else?

"meeting" - HA!

Thank you Mumsnet team for agreeing to think about this idea. I for one, really appreciate it.

Enid - sorry you've "been through the mill" too. Like you, I do my level best to try not to think about it all.

No, I won't let this drop out of active conversations just because you don't approve. Some reasonable and valid points have been made and I was saying thanks to Mumsnet for taking them on board.

hercules · 09/03/2005 17:56

I would also use it.

So am I now!

If, as blu says, you were having a laugh, ie - don't encourage a fan club for Enid, ho, ho, ho, so this should drop from active convos, then I apologised, as I realised I may have misinterpreted your original post (ie, failed to realise it was witty repartee cos I is fick sometimes).

If, however, you were seriously objecting to the thread, then my apology is null and void and it's pistols at dawn on Salisbury Plain !

Clear as mud now eh?
