And by that I mean this

Perhaps it could flash on and off at full moon spouting calming poetry?

NappiesGalore · 29/09/2008 16:22

perhaps it should be a bit like Holly from Red Dwarf... [muses]

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 29/09/2008 16:26

Slur.

And a live web chat with Noel Fielding please.

S1ur · 29/09/2008 16:28

And Naboo to have the last, mysterious word on all AIBU threads.

S1ur · 29/09/2008 16:31

The music topic could be covered in crimping.

They're not getting back to us are they?......We could send in Bollo...........

NappiesGalore · 29/09/2008 16:44

ok, so easily done i grant you... but... im confused now

GeraldineMumsnet · 29/09/2008 16:45

crikey, our very own lunar eclipse. we're looking into it.

NappiesGalore · 29/09/2008 16:47

no no, geraldine, panic not, we've already had a thread about this one being invisible... its all perfectly normal according to stG and other people who know these things.

just, when the moon does come back, can we have her all different. and special. and funny. pls.

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 29/09/2008 16:48

SEE I knew it wasn't normal. [smug emoticon]

NappiesGalore · 29/09/2008 16:52

nah, i bet geraldines never really noticed the moon much either.

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 29/09/2008 16:55

No she said 'crikey' this obviously means the moon crisis is very important and top of their adgenda.

I will surely get a prize......

NappiesGalore · 29/09/2008 16:57

now you mention it , c rikey is a bit serious...

awooga! awooga! abandon ship!

Flamesparrow · 29/09/2008 16:57

It has to be old Holly though

Flamesparrow · 29/09/2008 16:58

Purple alert! Purpler alert!

NappiesGalore · 29/09/2008 16:59

the one with the blokes voice? or was that the new one? i dont do sequencing of events v well...

NappiesGalore · 29/09/2008 16:59

its somewhere between a blue alert and a red alert...

lolol

Flamesparrow · 29/09/2008 17:13

To be fair, they did go from him to her to him, but yes, him.

YetMoreTech · 29/09/2008 17:16

This has just been brought to my attention.

I've fended off various not-all-that-funny jokes about someone having switched off the moon, the moon needing a reboot, someone needs to CTRL+ALT+DEL the moon, etc. And it's still knackered.

In the mean time, Slur et al, you might want to hit the refresh button in your browser. And no, it doesn't mean we'll respond to every whimsical request... It's really just a ploy to get you off our backs whilst I find someone to fix it properly.

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 29/09/2008 17:19

YetMoreTech, I love it!

SaintGeorge · 29/09/2008 17:21

Cute, but why?

The moon is not knackered, she is just dark, like every month.

Leave her alone.

NappiesGalore · 29/09/2008 17:24

oh YAY!!

Flamesparrow · 29/09/2008 17:27

That is scary!!!

S1ur · 29/09/2008 17:29

YMT

perfect.

Fancy guessing how many panicked threads blaming CERN will start now?

OP posts:
mehgalegs · 29/09/2008 17:29

Was going to say same as St G. It's a new moon so only a tiny slither is showing which is why the box looks dark. i likey that moon doh.
