I logged off not long after too; got fed up of waiting.

It is slow again - took me over 40 seconds on this click.

It's really no fun like this.

The worst part for me is when I click on "threads I am n" - that takes well over40 seconds to load up.

No other website affected, so it isn't my computer.

Sorry folks, we know the Old Girl is a bit slow of an evening at the moment.

We've two problems - one is that we're very busy and the server's creeking under the strain a bit. We've got a new one on order so please bear with us.

We've also had a few problems re the ads being slow to upload and we're talking to the folks at the agency who handle all ad-related things for us about how they might improve matters on that score too.

It's rubbish when it's slow we know. Apologies again and thanks for your patience while we sort it out.

I didn't even bother trying last night.

My suggestion - only allow adverts without pictures, in fact, design their adverts and write your own slogans like "try frootshoots, they're good" or "mmm, Greggs" y'know, stuff like that.
