How do you do it for babies under one year? DS would be DS10.5months which looks odd!

For those that are only months just put ds0.5 for 5 months for example (I know 5 months is not 0.5 but it just makes it easier).

Sounds great to me, far more logical and useful.

Might be amusing if half the members use one system and half use the other, and everyone ends up hopelessly confused

i think it's a good idea but could we drop the 'dear' in dear son. I've never liked that. So it would be d3 or s7 or d05 if they are months old not years.
