video ad makes chrome freeze

Whole thing froze twice once video ad appeared.

Video ads have been causing MN to crash and freeze for at least a year. MN are well aware, and say they’re working to solve it, yet the ads stay on the site and the site keeps crashing.

I have to close and reopen a page a lot of times because of those video adverts freezing the page.

Can only stand it for so long. Why any site thinks anyone watches intrusive video adverts is beyond me.
