Full-screen ads missing a close button and blocking the page

Hi, some of your ads aren’t working correctly. These full screen ads that you can’t scroll away from are really annoying anyway, but some of them don’t have an X in the corner so you have to reload the page to get away from them. Screenshot added

Thanks for flagging this, and sorry these have been getting in the way. A full screen ad with no way to close it shouldn't be happening.

Just so I can understand what's going on: when the ad shows, are you able to scroll the page up past it at all, or is it completely stuck until you reload? Some of these formats are meant to let you scroll on by, so if it's locking you out entirely that's a fault we want to fix. And are you on mobile or desktop, and which browser?

Thanks, that's really helpful. Sorry it's still getting in the way.

One thing that would help us work out who's serving it: if you press and hold on the ad, Safari should give you the option to copy the link. If you can paste that here, it will usually tell us which partner it's coming from. If press and hold doesn't do anything and you end up tapping through to the advertiser's site by accident, the web address at the top of the browser is just as useful.

It would also help to know which page you were on when it last happened, and roughly the date and time.

Having same problem! Chrome browser on desktop site on mobile.

Cant scroll past. No link when holding ad. Picture to follow. Here's link from clicking through to ad. And link from page of MN I was on!
