Personal attacks

Hi Mumsnet,

Just curious. When someone reports a personal attack and you agree and then remove said post, do you contact the person who posted it to say stop doing this etc or just delete said message and hope they get the message?

Thanks for getting in touch.
We do contact posters - quite often, too.

We don't usually share when we take further action behind the scenes, but can assure you that if the pattern were to continue after we've emailed posters, we would then issue suspensions.
