Amazon Haul advert opens every time I so much as look at a thread

Every time this advert is in a thread it opens the Amazon haul page, whether i want it to or not, (and I do not), even if I just breathe at it, boom, Amazon Haul opens. Its ridiculously sensitive and very very annoying. And it seems to be the only advert I am seeing across allllllll MN threads. Every time I try to scroll past it, it opens Amazon Haul. Every single time. Arggggghhhhh!!!!!

Mumsnet, you have been told about these over sensitive Amazon add repeatedly, why can't they be fixed?!?!?

Every few responses on a thread it’s triggered by normal scrolling - genuinely dire. iPhone 13 and totally up to date.

Yet it doesn’t seem to do it on mumsnet Ads. Just the Amazon ones

Same here. Nothing is different. Really annoying. Happened during scrolling down this thread, ironically! I'm only on here because of the bad gateway problem with the site. If that ever gets resolved, I'm deleting the app.

Same for me, iOS 26.4.2, iPhone app just keeps opening bloody Amazon as I scroll up some text (not clicking on ads). It’s really really annoying.

Was doing the same on android. Amazon opening as i am scrolling past. So annoying.
I've deleted the app as a result.

PLEASE MAKE IT STOP. iPhone 12 and it takes forEVER to read a thread. Do you make money from our clicks?

The other weird thing is that it appears between every 4th or 5th post so it can open several times while scrolling a thread.

It's just happened to me on this thread. Why is it only the Amazon ad that does it?

Still happening to me too, usually I have scrolled past before it opens and then I get a black screen and amazon opening. Deeply irritating.
