Why have you hidden this thread posted in memory of a well respected feminist who has recently died

Why does MNHQ need to "have a look" at this thread?

I posted it on learning about the death of a well know feminist and included a link to an article she wrote some time ago showing how radical feminists defined the difference between sex and gender which I thought those on FWR?

I am shocked and horrified at the disrespect.

Shame on you.

Talking About Gender | Mumsnet

This article is quite old, but interesting to read as it shows that radical feminists have always been clear that sex and gender are not the same thin...

Thanks - but can you explained what you / MNHQ means by "links which were under review".

I am no fan myself but I think the Guardian is seen as a reliable source?!

Sorry just realised you or someone was doubting the link to Trouble and Strife rather than the Guardian.

But although not current in its time was considered a "serious" publication.

And obviously not saying anyone should trust AI but they were able to summarise it as:

Trouble & Strife
was an independent British radical feminist magazine published between 1983 and 2002. It was known as a prominent, long-running periodical that provided a platform for radical feminist analysis, distinct from both liberal feminism and Marxism

Hello @IwantToRetire we use automated systems to scan links posted on the boards as part of our normal moderation and safeguarding processes. They’ll sometimes flag links that are fine. It just prompts a human moderator to take a look and make a decision in context. That’s what happened here.

We don’t go into detail about the specific signals the system uses, but please be reassured it’s there to help protect users and not to catch people out.

So much for AI!

Cant think of anying in my OP that would have caused it to be flagged.

Does it learn from its mistakes?

Also it could googled like I did - and should have a reminder system to prod humans.

IMO Grin
