Your Ads are getting worse. Please just STOP.

I didn't mind the static banner ads at the side.

I could tolerate the ones that took up the whole background behind the chat/thread spaces, for all they were glaringly bright..

However, we now have moving ads, flashing ads, ads that follow your mouse when you move it across the screen, pop out video ads, moving/animated ads that grow and shrink and revolve like football hoarding boards, tickers.. i'm being bombarded with moving and flashing.

It's TOO MUCH. I feel like i'm on a shitty rag news website these days.

Please Mumsnet, for the love of God, if we have to put up with ads for your revenues sake, please, please, please, can we go back to the static, not moving, not flashing, not doing anything than just BEING THERE ads.

The current ads are NOT disabled friendly and they're negatively impacting the user experience, and no-one, I mean NO-ONE is buying anything from them, and they're actually starting to push people from your site.

They're slowing your loading, crashing peoples devices and browsers.

HOW is any of this benefiting you as a User Content/Ran website?

I made a thread about this last week and not one from MNHQ replied! I get adds on top of others, flashing, moving things etc. I agree, its absolutely too much. And they wonder why so many people use add blockers!

Hi both

We have a longer thread over here that we have been replying on - it looks like there's a crossover so it may be worth checking in.

We do understand that these adverts can feel intrusive, and we’re working with our ad partner so improvements can be made. If the issues are effecting site useability, please could you provide screenshots of these adverts - alongside your device and browser information? We can take a closer look at individual adverts as they appear, so please do also let us know how they are effecting useability for you.
