Android App Issue

It's not working. At all. If I try to open it, it shuts down immediately.

It doesn't need updating, and I've already tried rebooting my phone and uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Nothing.

Is this a known issue, or is it a me issue? Anyone had similar or got any advice? Mumsnet, can you help?

Has this just started happening now or has it been going on for longer?

Could you also let us know the model of your device and which version of the app you're on?

Since the app is crashing you might not be able to open it and check, but if you head to the Mumsnet app page in the Google Play Store, scroll down to and select “about this app”, then scroll down to the “app info” section it should be there.

Hi I have a Huawei P30 Pro.

I can't see which version of the app I have but it says last updated 18 Jul 2025 to support dark mode.

It started not opening about 2 days ago.

I am also having the same problem and I can only access this site on my PC not my mobile. I first noticed the issue yesterday. I uninstalled then reinstalled but it has not solved the problem, I now have version 45.1.3 installed.
I am using a Samsung Galaxy S9 model number SM-G960F

I'm also using a Samsung Galaxy S9 and as soon as I click on the app it closes immediately. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled, but that made no difference.

Hi all

We've just released a new version of the app, which should resolve the issues being reported on this thread. Please could you take a look and check if this is the case? Some devices may have automatic updates turned on, but if you haven't, you may need to visit the Mumsnet app in the Google play store and manually update from there.
